CONTEXT

As a federal body, the National Crisis Centre develops procedures and tools to facilitate smooth communication before and during an emergency. In this context, the National Crisis Centre wished to design and roll out an awareness campaign on the industrial risks linked to the presence in certain areas of Seveso-classified companies (presenting a potentially high risk of chemical or industrial accidents). Without resorting to alarmist or anxiety-inducing communication, the main aim was to encourage citizens and local stakeholders to stay informed, in particular via the Be-Alert platform.

Design, produce and roll out an awareness campaign (neither alarmist nor anxiety-inducing) encouraging citizens and local stakeholders to adopt the right reflexes in the event of a chemical or industrial accident and inviting them to stay informed, in particular via the Be-Alert platform.

An informative and educational campaign promoting civic responsibility, built around the essential tool for being alerted in the event of an incident: the smartphone.
